Beware phone scammers

The Kenton County Detention Center is aware of an ongoing scam in which family members are being contacted and asked to send money in exchange for the early release of inmates.

We urge you to inform your loved ones that the Detention Center does not call family members to solicit funds under any circumstances. If anyone receives a suspicious call, they should hang up immediately and contact the Detention Center directly to verify any information.
